I received a Busy Signal error when my CEIVA frame tried to connect.
Things to try:
Check your connection method. Use the Connection Wizard on your CEIVA frame or your frame settings at ceiva.com to verify your connection method, change your local access numbers, or add a dialing prefix if necessary for your area. If you are using DSL, you may need to plug your CEIVA frame into a DSL filter.
Try dialing one of your local dial-in numbers on your phone to ensure that it works. You should hear a fax sound.
Once you change any settings, press and hold both the black and white buttons on the back of the frame. When the LCD screen turns black, let go of the buttons. Your CEIVA frame may take up to 20 minutes to reconfigure its new settings.
